"Kamogawa Noryo-yuka"

“Kamogawa” river at Kyoto is loved especially in summer. Because there are some exterior decks of restaurants and bars on the “Kamogawa”. “Kamogawa” is large and wide river, and it flows through the center of Kyoto.

This exterior decks are made by wood on “Kamogawa”. It is Japanese traditional cultures of wooden floors called “YUKA”. The “YUKA” is build only during summer, from 1st May to 30th September. There are more 50 restaurants and bars along “Kamogawa”.

You are able to enjoy eating and drinking, and so delicious cuisine on the “YUKA”. With sitting “tatami” floor, you are feeling Japanese traditional atmosphere.

Kyoto is really hot in top of summer, remaining at night. Then we suggest you cool spots, “Yuka”.
Most beautiful fantastic, romantic and beautiful landscapes are “Yuka” from river side. Many young citizen are sitting along “Kamogawa” and are friendly talking.

You will think many centuries with the old capital of Japan, and be satisfied with hot summer in Kyoto. It is good to eat above the cool breeze from “Kamogawa”!
