[ The experience of “Ame-zaiku” @ Asakusa – Japanese culture experience spot 4 – ]

created a goldfish candy by hand.

“Ame-zaiku” is one of the traditional Japanese arts crafts made of candy.
“Ame-zaiku” is created by cutting, pulling, and bending candy. The candy is softened by heating, and is finely crafted with bare hands and traditional Japanese scissors.

“Ame-zaiku” must be finished within just a few minutes after removing the candy from the pot. The characteristic of candy is hardened when cooled, and softened when heated.

Today, I introduce the place to experience “Ame-zaiku”. At “Ame-shin”,
you can experience to create “Ame-zaiku” by own hand in Asakusa, Tokyo.
And you can take it home for the souvenir, may enjoy with your friend or family.

You have to reserve the class on phone call or e-mail from the website, if you want to join it. This class takes time about 1 hour to 1.5 hour.
It seems to be special Japanese traditional culture experience!
