“The Okhotsk drift ice building / Tentozan observatory” stands on the mountaintop of Tentozan. It takes 20 minutes by car from “Memanbetsu” airport.

You can look around it to “Shiretoko” peninsula, the mountains of Akan across Lake “Abashiri”, Lake “Notori”, Lake “Mokoto” and the Sea of Okhotsk. Anyone will be impressed by the superb view to look at while it is blown by refreshing wind.
