[Parents and children’s exploration Square @ “Compass” in National Museum of Nature and Science / Tokyo]

“Compass” in the National Science Museum, there is an athletic space. In this place, parents and children can play.

There are the dinosaur fossils and stuffed animals between playground equipment.
It’s very near. So, the dinosaur fossils and stuffed animals are the real thing!

For example,
You climb the side of the ladder in stuffed animal of the rhinoceros, and there is a suspension bridge.

After crossing the suspension bridge, you will arrive beside the camel and giraffe stuffed.

Also, if you go behind the polar bear, you can go to the big slide.
The bottom of the dinosaur fossil become the tunnel.
You look up from there, you can see the bones of the dinosaur fossil’s stomach.

In addition, you can play with the flower, insect and fruits in acrylic resin.
Here you can observe the exhibits from various angles.

There are a lot of science books and the large reading space, too!

～ important point at “Compass” ～

To enter the compass, you need to get admission ticket at the reception in first floor of the permanent exhibition.

One use time is 45 minutes.
