In Japan, there is the end of the rainy season in sequence from Okinawa.
And many of the schools will start summer vacation.

We will introduce some events in July.

1) “Yamabiraki” (Opening of the mountaineering season)
“Yamabiraki” is permitted mountain climbing for the first time in the year.
In addition, mountain huts will open.
The opening day of the mountaineering season in “Mt. Fuji” has two patterns. It is July 1 and July 10.
It is different by the mountain trail of “the Yamanashi side” or “Shizuoka side”.

2) Day of the ox in midsummer
In the day of the ox in midsummer, there is a custom of eating eel.
This year is July 30 .

3) “Ochugen” (summer gift)
“Ochugen” is the custom to give gifts to such as co-workers, bosses, relatives, or friends .
It is usually given in mid July.

4) summer vacation
In schools or the company, we take vacation in the summer.

It is the end of the dank rainy season.
