[ MIYAGI vol.1 -Japanese prefecture introduction – No.4 ]

Tuesday, I introduce summary and characteristic about the prefecture.

Today, I introduce “MIYAGI”.
MIYAGI locate at Tohoku region, and it has huge plain so famous of rice production area.
In tourist attraction, “Matsushima” is known as one of the three most beautiful views in Japan. Other views are “Ama no Hashidate” in Kyoto and “Miyajima” in Hiroshima.
About gourmet, I recommend “beef tongue” and “oyster”. If you visit MIYAGI, you should try it!
Sendai Castle (or Aoba Castle) locates near the Sendai station, there is the Date Masamune’s statue. You can see beautiful view of Sendai, also the night view is awesome!

You can go to Sendai by “Tohoku-Shinkansen”. It takes about 2hours from Tokyo station.
