Ueno Zoo is a first Japanese zoo opened in year 1882.
A panda is extreme popularity here. You can get the photograph with the stuffed animal of the life-sized panda, too.

In a summer period, the zoo extend opening of the park time for three hours, and “A night zoo of the midsummer” is opened until 20:00.

You can watch animals until 20:00 during the period of the knight zoo.
There are various events during a period and you can watch the active animals such as the sleeping lion or tiger in the daytime and can enter the athletic ground of an elephant and the giraffe.
