[“Boso-no-Mura” – Experience Museum Chiba Prefectural / Narita, Chiba]

Boso-no-mura is reproduced a Japanese scenery of about 150 years ago (from the late Edo era to early Meiji era).

Do you want to challenge the Japanese traditional techniques and handicrafts about 150 years ago?

In “Boso-no-Mura”, you can experience the first-hand various types of Japanese tradition!

Boso-no-mura is reproduced a Japanese scenery of about 150 years ago (from the late Edo era to early Meiji era) in the Boso area (including Chiba Prefecture). There are old samurai residences, merchant’s residence, farmhouses, and other buildings.

You can experience some Japanese culture, for example, making traditional handicraft, joining the tea ceremony, and making coaster made of tatami straw.
There are about 350 types of demonstrations and hands-on experience programs through the year. But the schedule of experiences is changed. So, if you want to experience it, please you apply to Boso-no-mura by phone or fax.

Other times, I introduce some experience in Boso-no-mura.
