Koishikawa Korakuen Garden is just 5 minute walk from “Tokyo dome”. It is one of Tokyo’s oldest and best Japanese gardens. It was named “Korakuen” after a poem encouraging a ruler to enjoy pleasure only after achieving happiness for his people.
The garden is beautifully built blending in the natural environment, reproducing famous landscapes in miniature, with relaxing walking path among trees (plum, cherry, wisteria and iris), different-shaped stones, manmade hills and colorful fish eagerly watching your footstep. You will feel pretty much of energy balance here.
The Garden has much of its Japanese history stories to tell when you walk along the scenic path and explore the Japanese ancient architecture.
