[“Daiou Wasabi Nouzyou” @ Nagano Pref.]

“Daiou Wasabi Nouzyou” is one of the largest “wasabi” farm in Japan. It is in Azumino, Nagano Pref..
Its size is 15ha, it is largest in Japan.

Wasabi is indispensable for Japanese food. It is used, for example, sushi, sashimi, soba noodles.

Shall you learn about wasabi ?
Here, 120, 000t springwater comes out a day. Springwater makes river and its water is clear. There are some old waterwheels at the side of the river.
That pastoral landscape heals you.

If you need, you can try to make “Wasabi-zuke”.
There are some restaurants. At the Soba noodles restaurant, you can eat “Sinsyuu soba” with fresh wasabi.
