Hitachi Seaside Park is located in Hitachinaka, Ibaraki Pref. It is big green field park, a total space is 350 hectare.
It is located on the Pacific Ocean side of the Japanese coast. So it incorporates a unique natural environment of sand dunes, forests, grasslands and springs.
In spring, 4.5 million nemophilas (baby blue eyes) paint the Miharashi Hills light blue. The nemophilas are stunning under the blue sky against the backdrop of the Pacific Ocean!
Especially, the view from the top of the Miharashi Hills, 58m above sea level, is wonderful!
This huge spacious park has a variety of colorful flowers and grasses throughout the four seasons, as well as numerous other attractions.
There are an amusement park, large grassland, cycling and BMX tracks, a forest athletics filed. Anyone from adults to a children can enjoy there.
In the park, there are some restaurants. But if the weather is nice, you can bring your lunch and eat in the grass fields.
