Tsukuba Peony Garden(“Tsukuba Botan-en”) is the largest peony garden in Japan.
It’s in Ibaraki Prefecture, north of Kanto region.
The 60, 000 square meter garden has approximately 30, 000 peony flowers.
Some flowers can be as big as 39cm across.
It’s so beautiful!!
There are 550 kinds of Botan Peony and 215 kinds of Shakuyaku Peony in the garden.
The blooming season of peony is from the mid of April to the last of May.
