[ Enjoying power of the winter Nature! “Onouchi-Hyakkei-Hyouchu” @ Saitama ]

The world of a sheet of ice spreads out before our eyes when we pass through the winter mountain path.

This icicle is made by the local people with the aid of winter nature power. When power of human being and nature fuses well, we can have so powerful thing.
I was overwhelmed when I saw this phenomenon.

We can watch icicles over the suspension bridge. (You cannot pass after sunset.)

An open-air fire is set up so that a tourist can warm.
You can feel a feeling of the hospitality of local people in many places.

In addition, the illumination is held only in Saturday. It is fantastic and you can forget the cold!!

When you watch the illumination, I recommend you go at early time or use a bus.

■Access:
1) Ride the Seibu Railway limited express (“Red Arrow”) from “Ikebukuro station” to “Seibu-Chichibu Station” (takes about 1hour 18minute)
2) Take the bus from Seibu Railway / “Seibu-Chichibu Station” or Chichibu Railway / “Chichibu Station” to “Ogano-yakuba” (Transfer at this bus stop).
Take the bus goes to “Ogano-shyako” or “Kurio” (Ride about 30minute).
Take the bus for “Sakamoto” (about 15 minutes ride) and get off at “Onouchi-keikoku-iriguchi”. Walk about 20minute from the bus stop.
